Where can I shop American Spoon products in person?
Our complete product line can be found at any of our five retail locations in Michigan. In addition, we do sell our products at select retailers across the United States. For assistance locating a retailer near you, please contact our Customer Service team at 1-888-735-6700.

How do I change the address on my catalog?

Contact Customer Service by email at help@spoon.com or by phone at 1-888-735-6700. Please be sure to provide your old address as well as your new address.

Can I cancel or make changes to my order?

To ensure you can enjoy your order as soon as possible, things do move quite quickly once your order is placed. Once your order is submitted over the phone or via our website we are unable to make changes or cancellations to your order. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our Customer Service team at 1-888-735-6700 or via help@spoon.com

How will my package be shipped?

What if my package arrives damaged?

We encourage customers not to sign or accept any damaged packages. Products which are damaged or otherwise mishandled in transit may be disposed of. To receive a replacement free of charge or a full credit for the damaged item(s), please call our Customer Service team at 1-888-735-6700 for assistance.

How do I send a gift?

First, we recommend that you create an account on site by selecting the ‘Log In’ button in the upper right hand corner at spoon.com. From there, follow the prompts to create a new account or login to an existing account.

Then, enter the names and addresses of your gift recipients in your Address Book. Under ‘Account Details’ select ‘View Addresses’ then ‘Add a New Address’ and enter the shipping information of your gift recipients.

If you are sending one gift to a single address, add the products you wish to send to your cart. If you would like to add a gift box, you may do so at this stage. To add a gift message, select the ‘Is this a gift?’ checkbox above the ‘Check Out’ button which will prompt you to enter your name, the recipient’s name, and your gift message. Select save and then click ‘Check Out’. After selecting one of your saved shipping addresses from the drop down menu, continue to ‘Shipping’ and then to ‘Payment’ where you may select your billing address from the drop down menu.

If you are sending gifts to multiple addresses, add the products you wish to send to your cart. Once in your cart, select the ‘Ship to Multiple Addresses’ button above the product list. This will prompt you to walk through each product and select the quantity that will ship to each of your saved addresses from the drop down menu. Once all items are assigned a shipping address, click ‘Continue’. In the next shipping stage of checkout, you may select the ‘Is this a gift?’ checkbox to add a gift message.

How do I include a gift box with my order?

Please note, all products in our "Gifts" assortment come standard with a gift box. If you are creating your own custom gift, click the ‘Add American Spoon Gift Box’ checkbox in the cart page of the checkout process. We will select the appropriate size gift box for your order when it is packed.

Do I need to refrigerate my items?

American Spoon items are shelf stable before opening excluding the Maple Cream. Once opened, we recommend refrigerating all items to maintain optimal flavor aside from the Peanut Butter, Almond Butter, Raw Honey, and Star Thistle Honey.

What is the shelf life of American Spoon products?

We recommend locating the ‘Best By’ date printed on all American Spoon items for the optimal flavor and color lifespan of the product. If the ‘Best By’ date has been exceeded, we advise disposing of the product.

Is this site secure?

We have designed this website and our computing systems to ensure the highest level of security possible. Our web servers establish a secure connection to your computer whenever you submit sensitive personal information. This prevents that information from being intercepted as it travels across the Internet to our servers. The information we receive from you is stored only as long as is necessary to provide the service and support for your order.

Why should I create an account?

By creating an account, you will easily be able to send gifts using your personalized Address Book (any names and addresses need to be entered only once). In addition, once your billing and shipping information is entered one time, it will be automatically remembered when you sign in.

Will my credit card number be stored on the site?

Although our site is secure, we do not allow that information to be stored within our site or within your account. We do not store any credit card or financial account information in our databases that could later be used to compromise your account. This information is used as provided and only to complete your current transaction.

How do I change or edit my customer information
(shipping, billing, email address, password)?

If you have a registered customer account, just log in with your email address and the password you originally supplied. Then, click ‘Account’ in the upper right hand corner. Select ‘View Addresses’ and utilize the ‘edit’ links to update any of your original information.
