Description
Our tangy-sweet Quince Conserve is a Midwestern take on a traditional quince paste. Quince have a heady aroma and a deep, sweet, complexity that hints at apples, pears, and citrus. Ours are grown by Gene Garthe in Northport, Michigan, in a quince orchard he planted exclusively for us. We add a splash of late harvest Riesling to create our Quince Conserve, a thick, paste-like spread with a gorgeous russet color and a floral sweet-tart flavor. Serve it with slices of toasted, buttered bread and chunks of Manchego cheese.

“Amazing! I used this to make a wonderful puff pastry. It was delightfully fruity but just different enough to give our taste buds something to get excited about!” - Renee B., 12/21
